O Nguvu é cultivado em Muyinga, agora parte da província de Buhumuza, no Burundi, e processado numa pequena estação de lavagem nos arredores de Bujumbura. A estação é propriedade e gerida de forma independente, com controlo direto sobre os terrenos e as operações.

Apoiada pela formação de qualidade e prémios da JNP Coffee, trabalha lado a lado com um grupo unido de mulheres agricultoras locais. O nome Nguvu significa “força” em Kirundi, um nome adequado para um café que é ao mesmo tempo delicado e confiante.
